1. Who we are and how to contact us
WeeJobs is operated by Nudge App Ltd, a company registered in Northern Ireland under company number NI734993. Our registered office is 165 Curragh Road, Aghadowey, Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, BT51 4BU.
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@weejobs.net. Our Support and Complaints page explains how we handle complaints.
2. Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you access or use the WeeJobs website, mobile app or marketplace services. When you create an account, you must actively agree to these terms and our Community Guidelines, confirm that you are at least 18, acknowledge our Privacy Notice, and acknowledge WeeJobs' marketplace role.
If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the marketplace. We record the version and time of your acceptance. Our Privacy Notice is information about our processing, not a request to surrender your data protection rights.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract to use WeeJobs. You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure and tell us promptly if you believe it has been misused.
Accounts are personal and must not be transferred or shared. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care. We may require identity, qualification, business, tax, payment or safety information before making particular features available.
4. WeeJobs is a marketplace
WeeJobs provides technology that helps customers find and communicate with independent service providers. Unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific service, Nudge App Ltd does not perform, supervise or control the job and is not the employer, agent or insurer of a service provider.
When a customer selects a service provider, the contract for the job is directly between those two users. They are responsible for agreeing the scope, final price, timing, materials, access, cancellations and safe performance of the work. A service provider decides which jobs to pursue and how to perform accepted work.
We may provide profiles, checks, ratings, estimates, messaging, deposits, payments, location features and support. These tools do not amount to a guarantee of identity, suitability, qualifications, insurance, workmanship, safety, legality or outcome. A badge or submitted document means only what the app expressly says it means.
5. Customer responsibilities
If you post a job, you must:
- describe the work, location, access, known hazards, timing and budget honestly;
- have the right to request work at the property or location;
- choose a suitable service provider and check qualifications, registrations, insurance and references where relevant;
- provide a safe working environment and disclose relevant risks;
- agree changes to scope or price before additional work begins; and
- pay amounts properly due under the agreed job and platform flow.
Do not use WeeJobs for immediate emergencies. Call 999 where someone is in danger or a crime is in progress.
6. Service provider responsibilities
If you offer services, you must:
- only express interest in work you can lawfully, safely and competently perform;
- hold and maintain any legally required registration, licence, qualification, permission and insurance;
- give honest information about your identity, experience, availability and business status;
- make quotes clear, including materials, call-out charges, VAT status and important exclusions;
- perform agreed work with reasonable care and skill and follow applicable law; and
- deal with your own tax, National Insurance, VAT, accounting and reporting obligations.
You act independently and are not guaranteed any minimum number, value or frequency of jobs.
7. Jobs, quotes and changes
A job post is an invitation for interest, not a binding offer by WeeJobs. Messages, rough ranges and AI estimates are not final quotes. The customer and service provider form their job contract when they agree to proceed on the displayed terms.
Users should keep material agreements in WeeJobs messages where possible. Any change to price, scope, materials or timing should be agreed before the changed work begins. Regulated or hazardous work, including gas, electrical, asbestos, structural or waste work, must only be undertaken by a person with the required legal authority and competence.
8. Deposits and customer payments
For fixed-budget jobs, the booking deposit is 10% of the posted budget, with a minimum of £10 and maximum of £50. For a job that requires a quote, the booking deposit is £20. The quotation deposit is credited against the final invoice if the job proceeds.
The checkout screen shows the amount before payment. A deposit secures the booking flow, but does not make WeeJobs the service provider or guarantee completion. Final amounts remain subject to the agreed quote, approved changes and any applicable consumer rights.
Stripe processes card payments. WeeJobs does not receive full card details. Payment disputes, cancellations and refunds are governed by these terms and our Cancellations and Refunds Policy.
9. Service provider fees and payouts
Under PAYG, the current platform fee is 10% of the amount paid for a completed job. Under PRO, the current platform fee is 4%. The applicable fee is shown in the app and deducted before the service provider payout.
With the current Stripe destination-charge setup, WeeJobs bears Stripe's standard processing fee rather than deducting it separately from the service provider's payout. A service provider therefore receives the customer payment less the displayed WeeJobs platform fee, subject to refunds, disputes, chargebacks, corrections, tax withholding required by law or a different deduction clearly disclosed before commitment.
Nudge App Ltd is not currently VAT registered, so WeeJobs does not currently add VAT to its own displayed fees. A service provider must say whether their quote includes VAT and remains responsible for their own VAT position.
10. Wee Bucks and PRO
Wee Bucks are platform credits used by service providers to unlock or express interest in jobs. PAYG currently costs £3 per job unlock. A hold is released if the service provider is not selected and consumed if they are selected, subject to the flow shown in the app.
Wee Bucks are limited platform credits, cannot be used as general payment, transferred or withdrawn for cash, and are governed by the Wee Bucks Terms. Purchased Wee Bucks are non-refundable and are forfeited if the account is deleted, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
PRO costs £89 every four weeks and renews automatically until cancelled. Four-week billing normally produces 13 charges in a full uninterrupted year. PRO is governed by the PRO Membership Terms.
11. Cancellations, refunds and disputes
Refund eligibility depends on the job stage. A customer is ordinarily eligible for a full booking-deposit refund if they cancel before the service provider marks the job “On the way”. If the service provider cancels, the customer ordinarily receives a full deposit refund. Different outcomes may apply after travel or work begins, or where there is fraud, provider fault or a right that the law gives you.
See the Cancellations and Refunds Policy for the full process. A card chargeback is not a substitute for contacting us, but nothing prevents you exercising a right available through your payment provider.
12. Content, messages and reviews
You retain ownership of content you submit. You give Nudge App Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, display, adapt and process that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, moderate and improve WeeJobs, resolve disputes, meet legal duties and promote a public profile where you chose to make it public.
You must have the right to share content and must not post unlawful, misleading, infringing, abusive or privacy-invasive material. Reviews must describe a genuine experience and be fair and honest. Our Community Guidelines contain the detailed rules.
13. Moderation and account action
We may investigate, restrict visibility, remove content, pause payments where lawfully permitted, suspend features or close an account where reasonably necessary to enforce our rules, protect users, prevent fraud, comply with law or address a safety risk. We may preserve relevant evidence and report suspected crime or illegal content to the appropriate authority.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an appeal route. We may act without advance notice where notice would create a risk, compromise an investigation or be unlawful.
14. Intellectual property
WeeJobs, its software, branding and platform materials belong to Nudge App Ltd or its licensors. We give you a limited, personal, revocable and non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You must not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with or commercially exploit the platform except where law expressly permits it.
15. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may maintain, change, withdraw or add features. We will give reasonable notice where a change materially affects a paid service, unless urgent security, legal or operational reasons prevent this.
16. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that protection, WeeJobs is not responsible for the acts, omissions, work, advice, goods or services of users, or for indirect or unforeseeable losses. We remain responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
If you use WeeJobs for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, opportunity or anticipated savings, except where the law does not permit that exclusion.
17. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information. Our Cookie Notice covers the public website. Service providers should not copy, retain or use another user's personal information for unrelated purposes.
18. Ending an account
You can stop using WeeJobs and request deletion through the app. Active jobs, pending payouts, disputes, safety investigations or legal duties may need to be resolved first. The Account Deletion page explains the consequences, including forfeiture of unused Wee Bucks and retention of records we must lawfully keep.
Terms concerning payments, disputes, content licences already exercised, liability, tax, records and enforcement continue where they need to operate after closure.
19. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version and effective date appear above. If a material change affects existing users, we will give reasonable notice and request renewed acceptance where appropriate. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.
20. General legal terms
If one part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or agreement without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and duties as part of a business reorganisation or transfer, provided your rights are not reduced.
These terms do not give enforcement rights to a person who is not a party to them, except where legislation provides otherwise.
21. Governing law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland. The courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom or elsewhere.
