1. The standard we expect
Use WeeJobs honestly, lawfully and respectfully. Give accurate job and profile information, communicate clearly, protect other people's privacy and only arrange work that can be performed safely and legally. These guidelines apply to profiles, job posts, photos, messages, reviews, offers and conduct connected with a WeeJobs job.
2. Prohibited content and activity
Do not use WeeJobs to post, request, offer, encourage or facilitate:
- crime, fraud, scams, deception, theft or dealing in stolen property;
- weapons, illegal drugs, controlled goods or other unlawful products or services;
- sexual or adult services, sexual exploitation, trafficking or forced labour;
- child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, or any sexual content involving a person under 18;
- terrorism, credible threats, violence, hate, harassment, bullying, stalking or intimidation;
- doxxing, non-consensual intimate material or misuse of another person's private information;
- encouragement of suicide, serious self-harm or exploitation of a vulnerable person;
- malware, hacking, account compromise, platform scraping or security interference;
- copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights infringement;
- illegal waste transport or disposal, or work intended to evade environmental rules;
- passenger transport or other activity that WeeJobs does not support;
- fake jobs, profiles, qualifications, insurance, messages or reviews;
- spam, review manipulation, payment manipulation or attempts to bypass platform safety and payment controls; or
- sharing third-party personal information without a lawful reason.
3. Regulated and hazardous work
Do not request or undertake gas, electrical, asbestos, structural, building-control, waste or other regulated work unless the person performing it has every registration, licence, competence and insurance required by law. A customer must not pressure a service provider to work unsafely or unlawfully.
WeeJobs is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, a crime in progress, fire or a medical emergency, call 999. For a suspected gas emergency, use the appropriate emergency gas service.
4. Respect, fairness and discrimination
Do not discriminate unlawfully, use hateful or degrading language, threaten another user, make unwanted sexual approaches or retaliate against someone for raising a concern. Honest disagreement about a job is not itself a breach, but it must be handled without abuse or intimidation.
5. Photos, messages and reviews
Only upload material you have a right to share. Avoid showing faces, vehicle plates, documents, house numbers or possessions that are not needed to explain the job. Reviews must be based on a genuine interaction and must not be traded, coerced or used to threaten payment.
6. Reporting and blocking
Use the report or block tools in the app where available, or email support@weejobs.net. Include the job reference, account name, what happened and any relevant evidence. Do not put yourself at risk to collect evidence.
Blocking limits contact through WeeJobs, but may not remove records needed for an active job, safety review or legal duty. Serious illegal content may be reported to law enforcement or the appropriate safeguarding body.
7. How we respond
We use a narrow automated text filter to reject clear examples of direct threats, exploitation, identity-based abuse, prohibited service offers and doxxing before posting. It does not understand every context or review every item. If content is rejected by mistake, contact support. Other concerns are handled through reports and human review.
We may restrict content while reviewing it, remove content, warn a user, limit features, suspend or close an account, preserve evidence, pause a transaction where lawfully permitted, or make a report to an authority. The response depends on severity, context, history, immediate risk and legal obligations.
We aim to acknowledge urgent safety or illegal-content reports within 24 hours. This is a service target, not an emergency response guarantee.
8. Appeals
If you believe we made a moderation mistake, reply to the decision or email support with the relevant reference and a clear explanation. A person not responsible for the original decision will review the appeal where reasonably practicable. We may not disclose information that would compromise another person's safety, privacy or an investigation.
9. Contact
Report non-emergency concerns to support@weejobs.net or use the Support and Complaints page. Call 999 for immediate danger.
