How Wee Bucks are designed to make local leads fairer

Wee Bucks are being designed to make local job interest clearer, more trackable, and fairer for workers and tradies.

Wee Bucks are the credit system WeeJobs is building for workers and tradies to express interest in local jobs. The aim is to make access to work clearer and fairer than blind lead chasing.

Why credits need to be clearer

A common frustration with lead platforms is paying for weak leads before knowing whether the job is a good fit. WeeJobs is being designed so local workers can see useful job basics before deciding whether to express interest.

What Wee Bucks are intended to do

  • Help tradies focus on jobs that suit their area, skills, and availability.
  • Make job interest more trackable inside the platform.
  • Support clearer billing activity when a job moves forward.
  • Reduce wasted time around unclear or poor-fit opportunities.

A simple example

A customer posts a job. Several local workers express interest using Wee Bucks. The customer chooses who they want to move forward with. Depending on the job flow, the winning worker's Wee Bucks may be consumed when the job is finalised, while other interest is handled according to platform rules.

The goal is not to make every job automatic. The goal is to make interest, commitment, and billing activity easier to understand.
