About Cushendun
Cushendun is a small coastal village at the mouth of the Glendun river, known for its distinctive Cornish-style cottages and the caves along the shore. Many homes are older properties or holiday houses, and keeping them in good order takes care, especially after winter on the Antrim coast. WeeJobs helps owners and residents in Cushendun find tradespeople who cover the Glens, whether it is a small repair, a paint job or garden work. Post it, see who is interested and choose who suits.

Questions about Cushendun
What details belong in a painting and decorating job?
List the rooms or surfaces, their condition and the finish you would like. Photos can show peeling paint, cracks or wallpaper that needs removing. Mention ceilings and woodwork separately.
Should I buy paint before choosing a decorator?
You can discuss materials with the decorator first. Agree who supplies the paint, the colour and finish, and whether preparation materials are part of the work.
Can I ask for just a room or some woodwork to be painted?
Yes. Describe the area you want decorated, even if it is only part of a room. Include any furniture or access arrangements the decorator should know about.
Will tradespeople travel to Cushendun?
Some tradespeople cover the Glens coast. Post your job with your location so those covering it can see it.
My property is older. Can I find someone suitable?
Mention the age and style of the property in your job, and ask about relevant experience before agreeing the work.
Can I arrange work while I am away?
Yes. Post and manage the job in the app and agree access with the tradesperson you choose.
